Built a full lead engine: Google Ads, Google Local Services Ads, local SEO, and a real website, with every call and form tracked so we know exactly what is working.
Audited the ad spend against real search terms and found a campaign burning budget on industry jargon and DIY/equipment shoppers ('hydro jetting', 'rent a hydrojet'). We paused it and moved the money to the campaigns actually booking jobs: leak detection and water heaters.
Rebuilt the keyword strategy around how homeowners really search: clogged drain, drain cleaning near me, water heater repair.
Grew organic search from literal zero, so leads keep coming in even when the ads are off.
